UKPokerFinder may use technologies required for security, administration, forms, website functionality or remembering privacy choices.

UKPokerFinder has not yet intentionally enabled a visitor analytics platform. If this changes, this policy and the appropriate controls will be updated.
Advertising tracking
UKPokerFinder has not yet intentionally enabled on-site advertising or behavioural tracking technologies.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website or service can store on a device and read again later.
Similar technologies can include local storage, scripts, tags, tracking pixels, device identifiers and other methods that store information on, or access information from, a computer, phone or other device.
In this policy, we use the word cookies as convenient shorthand where appropriate, but the rules can apply to a wider range of storage and access technologies.
When is consent required?
Where no relevant legal exception applies, UKPokerFinder must obtain the appropriate consent before using storage or access technologies that require it.
Consent must involve a genuine positive choice. Ignoring a cookie message, continuing to browse or silence does not by itself amount to valid consent.

UKPokerFinder will only rely on an exception where we believe its legal conditions apply.

Current UKPokerFinder setup
We are keeping the tracking footprint deliberately small.
At the date shown above, UKPokerFinder has not intentionally enabled a general visitor analytics platform or behavioural advertising technology.
Website infrastructure, WordPress administration, security, forms or privacy-preference systems may still use storage or access technologies where needed for their functions.
We will audit the technologies in use and update this policy when new analytics, advertising, embedded services or consent-management tools are introduced.
Third-party content and services
UKPokerFinder may link to websites operated by poker venues, tournament organisers, gambling operators and other third parties.
Technologies used after you leave UKPokerFinder are governed by the relevant third party’s own privacy and cookie practices.
If UKPokerFinder later embeds third-party content directly into a page, we will consider whether the embedded service uses cookies or similar technologies and whether additional consent or information is required.
Affiliate links and referral tracking
UKPokerFinder may use affiliate links where a commercial partnership exists.
An affiliate link can contain a referral or tracking identifier in the URL so that a partner can recognise that a visitor arrived from UKPokerFinder.
The destination website may then use its own cookies or other technologies. Those technologies are controlled by the destination organisation and are subject to its own policies.

Where UKPokerFinder asks for consent, the consent mechanism will provide controls for the relevant non-essential technologies.
