How Can You Win a Poker Seat?
There is more than one route into a live poker event. Prize draws and instant wins are commercial competitions operated by a promoter. Poker satellites are tournaments in which players compete at the tables for one or more fixed-value seats. The distinction matters because the entry process, skill involved and prize conditions are different.
Prize Draw or Instant Win
You obtain an entry under the promoter’s rules. A winner is selected through the stated draw or instant-win process and receives the advertised seat or package. All In Events states that its paid competitions also have a free postal entry route, subject to its current terms and deadlines.
Read the promoter’s terms ↗Poker Satellite or Qualifier
You play poker in a qualifying tournament. Depending on the structure, one or more finishers receive a seat, ticket or package rather than an ordinary cash prize. Satellite strategy and qualification rules differ from a random prize draw.

Check the Real Poker Schedule
A seat is useful only if the target event, location and dates actually work for you. For WSOP Circuit Nottingham opportunities, inspect the live tournament listings and the Dusk Till Dawn venue information before committing to travel. For GUKPT seats, use the UKPokerFinder tour guide to see relevant events and venues.

Check the Prize, Not Just the Headline
- Exact prize: confirm whether it is a seat only or a wider package.
- Travel and hotel: never assume either is included unless it is expressly listed.
- Target event: verify the venue, event dates and any flight or day restrictions.
- Closing and draw process: check the live deadline, availability and winner-selection method.
- Eligibility: read the age, location, account and identification requirements.
- Budget: decide what you are prepared to spend before entering and do not chase losses.
Poker seat competition FAQs
Useful Answers Before You Enter
Are these poker competitions the same as poker satellites?
No. The opportunities on this page are independent prize draws or instant-win competitions unless expressly stated otherwise. A poker satellite requires players to compete in a poker tournament for a seat or package.
How does the UKPF10 discount code work?
Enter UKPF10 at the All In Events checkout to receive 10% off eligible paid tickets. UKPokerFinder may also receive affiliate commission when the code or tracked link is used.
Does winning a poker seat include travel and accommodation?
Not automatically. A seat-only prize normally covers the advertised tournament entry. A package may include a hotel, travel allowance or cash, but only the individual competition wording and terms determine what is included.
Can I enter without buying a ticket?
All In Events states that its paid competitions include a free postal entry route. Postal entries must follow the promoter’s current instructions and arrive before the relevant deadline, so read the live competition terms before posting anything.
Where can I check the actual poker event schedule?
Use the UKPokerFinder live tournament calendar, venue guides and festival pages, then confirm the final details with the official event or venue before booking travel or accommodation.
Enter Informed, Not on Impulse
UKPokerFinder does not operate these competitions, take payments or select winners. Prize draws involve an uncertain outcome. Only enter if you are 18 or over, understand the terms and are comfortable with the amount you may spend.
